Celebrating the fragile and beautiful qualities of life describes my approach to art. It doesn’t matter whether I am painting realistically or abstractly, my concern is to convey the transient beauty of the world around me and convey the emotions I feel when experiencing that world.  I strive to appreciate and rejoice in the present moment. I love the feeling that my brushes are creating a world that encompasses the beauty of nature and the excitement of my imagination.  To create a piece of art that expresses my feelings and also engages the viewer is my goal.
